The app helps you track and manage multiple timezones with features including location groups, custom labels, home screen widgets, and cloud sync across your devices. Easy Timezones supports over 40,000 locations and 793 timezones and is available on iOS and Android.

This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and protect your information when you use Easy Timezones. By using the app, you agree to the practices described in this policy.

2. Information We Collect

Account Data

If you choose to create an account using Google or Apple Sign-In, we collect your name and email address. Account creation is entirely optional and is only required if you wish to use cloud sync to keep your timezone data synchronised across multiple devices.

App Data

We store the data you create within the app, including your timezone selections, location groups, custom labels, widget configurations, and settings preferences. If you do not enable cloud sync, this data remains stored locally on your device.

Device Information

We collect device-level information to maintain app stability and diagnose issues. This includes your device type, operating system version, IP address, and crash diagnostics collected through Firebase Crashlytics.

Usage Analytics

We use Firebase Analytics to understand how people use Easy Timezones. This includes anonymised data about which features are used, session duration, and general usage patterns. This data helps us improve the app experience for all users.

• Providing core app functionality, including timezone tracking, location groups, custom labels, and home screen widgets

4. Sharing Your Information

We do not sell your personal data. We share information only with the following service providers who help us operate Easy Timezones:

• Firebase (Google) — Authentication, cloud database, analytics, and crash reporting
• RevenueCat — Subscription and in-app purchase management
• Google Mobile Ads — Serving advertisements within the free tier of the app

These providers process data on our behalf and are bound by their own privacy policies and data processing agreements. We may also disclose information if required by law or to protect the rights and safety of our users.

5. International Data Transfers

Samtark Pty Ltd is based in Australia. Your data may be processed and stored in Australia and the United States, depending on the services involved. Our service providers, including Firebase and RevenueCat, may process data in jurisdictions outside your country of residence. We take the protection of your data seriously. All data transmitted between your device and our servers is encrypted in transit using TLS. Data stored in Firebase is encrypted at rest. 7. Data Retention

We retain your personal data for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide you with the Easy Timezones service. If you request deletion of your account and data, we will remove it from our systems within 30 days, except where we are required by law to retain certain information for a longer period.

• Delete your account and all associated data

10. Cloud Sync

Cloud sync is an optional feature that requires signing in with a Google or Apple account. When cloud sync is enabled, your timezone selections, location groups, custom labels, and settings are stored in Firebase so they can be accessed across your devices. If you choose not to enable cloud sync, all your data remains stored locally on your device and is not transmitted to our servers.

11. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. If we make material changes, we will notify you through the app or by other appropriate means before the changes take effect. We encourage you to review this page periodically. Your continued use of Easy Timezones after any changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
